Memberships

The J.W. Hayden Recreation Centre is a membership-based organization. Anyone who wishes to participate in a Hayden activity must have a current membership that is active throughout the duration of the activity. 

In order to be eligible for a Hayden membership, the participant must either reside in Lexington, attend a full-time school (Grades K to 12) in Lexington, or work in Lexington.  

Membership to the Hayden Ice Facility has no residency restrictions; however, it is ONLY valid for use at the Ice Facility (valid from Sept-May). 

All memberships are individual memberships. Under the Facility Information section of our website, please see our current Facility Schedule for times when the pool, gymnasium and weight room facilities are available to Members based on their membership type/age. Facility Schedules will change from season to season.

Note that anytime it says Member & Guardian for areas of facility use, a guardian (age 18+) needs to accompany the youth in order to participate. Only the youth needs to have an active Hayden membership for these specified times.

Membership options are listed below: 

Youth membership (Ages birth-21 years):  $51.00- Residents Only

Youth memberships will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.  

 Adult membership (Ages 21+): Residents Only 

age 21 to 59 $318 annually

age 60 + $236 annually

This membership is available for Lexington residents.

• Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

• Memberships allow access to designated pool, gym, and weightroom hours as well as general skate times, and class registration. Please note available hours vary by season.

Non-Resident Rec membership (Ages birth & up):

Valid ONLY at the Recreation Centre

YOUTH - $95 - available to Non-Residents in Grades K-12 who are attending a Lexington school on a full time basis. Membership is valid September 11, 2023 through May 24, 2024.

ADULT - $355 - available to Non-Residents age 18+ who work in Lexington. Membership is valid 12 months from date of purchase.

Non-Resident Ice membership (Ages birth & up): $324

Valid ONLY at Hayden Ice Facility

This membership is available to all non-residents interested in using the Hayden Ice Facility. 

It will be valid September 2023-May 2024.
