The Recreation Centre is looking to fill several positions with high energy, enthusiastic and creative individuals.  

Lifeguards 

Hours and availability vary throughout the year. Mornings, mid-day, afternoon, evenings, weekends, etc. Guarding duties include overseeing the pool for safety during lap swimming, youth swim classes, youth free swim, and swim clinic/team practices. Please contact Julia Ward jward@jwhayden.org 

Training opportunities are offered throughout the year. 

Swim Instructors 

Hours and availability vary throughout the year. Mornings, afternoon, evenings, weekends, etc. Instructors will teach youth members based on American Red Cross level lesson plans. Please contact Julia Ward jward@jwhayden.org

Summer Camp Counselor 

Hayden Camps serve children age 3 through entering grade 8. Campers engage in a variety of activities including arts & crafts, physical education, and more! We also offer specialty camps throughout the summer with a focus on Sports, Art, or Cooking! Counselor hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:00pm with the opportunity for additional hours in our Extended Day. Please contact Lauren St Cyr at lstcyr@jwhayden.org. 
Counselors must be at least 16 by July 1, 2025.
