The Recreation Centre is looking to fill several positions with high energy, enthusiastic and creative individuals.  

Lifeguards 

Hours and availability vary throughout the year. Mornings, mid-day, afternoon, evenings, weekends, etc. Guarding duties include overseeing the pool for safety during lap swimming, youth swim classes, youth free swim, and swim clinic/team practices. Please contact Julia Ward jward@jwhayden.org 

Training opportunities are offered throughout the year. 

Swim Instructors 

Hours and availability vary throughout the year. Mornings, afternoon, evenings, weekends, etc. Instructors will teach youth members based on American Red Cross level lesson plans. Please contact Julia Ward jward@jwhayden.org

Assistant Group Leaders - Hayden After School

Available hours are Monday – Friday 4:00 – 6:15.  We do have flexibility with days and scheduling throughout the school year.  Individuals should be able to assist in leading students through a variety of activities at the Centre.
